Bonaire Elementary School Reviews

Wonderful school and happy to be a Wildcat! When anyone enters the school, everyone greets you with a hello and a warm smile. The principal, support staff, and teachers are always striving for each child to be their best!! This is the place to be to get superb education!

I have two children that attend Bonaire Elementary (one entering 4th and one entering K). Bonaire is one of the highest ranked elementary schools in the entire state. The entire staff is outstanding. My wife and couldnt be more pleased with the teachers we have worked with. Our children love it and their grades and CRCT results show. If you are relocating to WR with young kids, find a house in this schools district.

This school has been good for both of my children as they are taught by involved teachers. There is one oddity that several of us parents wonder about. The kids are punished for misbehavior by losing recess. I'm not an educator, but I am a mom and busy, distracted children might find walking around the playing field all recess to be more of a torture and the kids could expend their energy somewhere other than the classroom. The administration here is very tight and they are sincerely concerned about the welfare of each child.

BES is an outstanding school!! I have never experienced a principal as awesome as Mr. Payne. From our first visit to the school he made us feel welcome and my child was NOT a number, but he was a welcome member of the Wildcat family. Mr. Payne knows each child by name, current teacher, and how they are doing. He takes the time not just to listen to the kids, but to understand them. His wonderful leadership is evident in the staff who surrounds him....they are very friendly and always willing to help. Mrs. Arnett and Mrs. Nicely in the front office are always on top of things and greet every visitor with a smile. The FOCUS program is wonderful and has offered my son a great opportunity to reach new levels of learning. We are going to miss BES as my son moves on to middle school. Thanks BES!!

I can honestly say that my learning was increased greatly as I spent a few years learning there.

My 2nd & 5th graders started BES fall 2006. My son, with an IEP, was met with full support. His writting skills went from unreadable to neat and complete sentences thanks to Mrs. B. Mrs. J, his special education teacher, is very proactive. The teachers make learning exciting with reading counts and rewards, bringing in bugs for class examination and humor. It's a great enviroment for my children.

Bonaire Elementary is Wonderful! Home of the Wildcats. I have two daughters that attend school at BES. Mr. Payne & his Staff are wonderful, loving people. The office staff stays on top of things and is there to answer any questions. Parents are involved and go out of their way to help make this school the best. Thanks Bonaire Elementary for all you do. Go Wildcats!

Wonderful teachers and staff. My daughter just finished 1st grade and already reads above a 3rd grade level.

My son attended Bonaire Elementary from Pre-K through the end of his first grade year. The staff overall is very friendly and concerned about their students. Mr. Payne, the principal was a God fearing man who was nothing but kind. He took the time to get to know his students on a first name basis and that meant a lot. I will always remember Bonaire Elementary. Shereka Nottingham

My child went to bes for 3 years and loved it. The teachers are wonderful and very helpful. The principal is the best. He knows every childs' name and knows how well they are doing in class. They have a great parent volunteer program with a lot of parent involvement. Lots of clubs for the kids to participate in. Academically, i think it is the best in the county.

Great school with wonderful teachers. They made entering the school in the middle of the year. Very involved parents.

Bonaire Elementary is the best! Mr. Payne is an exceptional principal and Ms. Busbee is terrific. They work together and make these kids feel loved. The teachers that my kids have had are terrific, they take the time to teach the children and make sure the kids know they really do care aobut them and their education.

My daughter transferred to Bonaire from Linwood last year, in the middle of second grade. Mr. Payne, the Principal, was awesome. He walked her to her knew class, joked with her and the other kids. He seems to love what he does. The kids love him too. Her teacher was great, she made my daughter feel very comfortable (my daughter is very shy). This year she has an incredible teacher (Mrs. Busuttil). Before we moved to Bonaire, my daughter didn't like school. Her old school was very boring, too easy, she wasn't challenged at all. Now she loves school, and she is receiving an exceptional education. I am very pleased with Bonaire. The only bad thing is the pick-up process. It is very crowded, and they definitly need to improve the security of the pick-up process.

My children have all started school in the K4 program at Bonaire Elementary. My oldest will be moving up to Middle School for the 2004-5 school year. Thanks to the great 5th grade team, he'll be ready! Bonaire Elementary has a great team from the top on down. A good principal encourages teachers to be the best educators that they can be. Bonaire is very fortunate to have a very good principal, great educators, and a pleasant, helpful overall staff. If it weren't for the wonderful environment, we wouldn't have so many willing parent volunteers.
