I'm not going to lie I am by no means laid back, whatever that means really. I mean seriously does anyone know exactly what it means to be laid back? How about down to earth...ok I'm gonna stop now cause I'll start chasing rabbits. At any rate I'm tried of doing these damn things and filling it out like I'm doing some video dating thing. Yes I'm single but I've got so much shit going on in my life right now I couldn't even begin to think about dating. Specially since I can never seem to find a guy who is willing to put up with the fact that I'm a grown 5 year old. I still play video games and yes that even includes World of Warcraft. I spend most of my days working and after that I'm sitting at home watching TV shows. Doctor Who, Brothers and Sisters, Bones, NCIS, CSI, Mythbusters, and whatever tickles my fancy. Sure I can be an adult, when the time calls for it, but generally I just enjoy being a child. Hanging with my friends, playing Rock Band, doing whatever really. I am a god damn mess, I've got four credit cards that will be paid off this year, I've got a car that will also be paid off this year, and then I'm going back to school for Winter Quarter. I'm a ticking time bomb these past few days...well months really. I get stressed easily over the smallest damn thing and sure I'd love to be drama free but let's face it no one can be drama free. I try very hard to keep things drama free but sometimes life won't have it that way. So....well hell I'm out of things to talk about. So whatever just email if you wish I can babble more. I'm a very laid back person who just got out of the Navy not to long ago. I have a sense of humor and usually don't take things that seriously...life is to short anyways! I go with the flow about 99.9% of the time, I really just let things. The other 0.01% is my spur the moment type things...which happen more often when I've had a few drinks (but no, I am NOT an alcoholic).

I absolutely hate math with a passion, it just doesn't make sense to me at all. In fact, I usually forget what I just learned in a few days after not using it. If you want to see me stress out to the point of insanity, you will give me a math problem. I never used anything beyond arithmetic in the Navy, so I can say with truth that my Algebra teacher in high school was dead wrong when she preached that I will use it throughout my life.

So other than that, I was born in Texas, but sadly enough I don't feel the urge to wear a cowboy hat! I have one sister and that is enough for me, yeesh. I have one sport bike and one truck. I have been in one motorcycle accident, I was T-Boned by a F-250 going 45 MPH (in a 10 MPH zone). Yea, it kind of hurt and walking was not an option for the first 2 days. I got a chipped thumb-bone and a gnarly bruise on my right hip. I don't care what people say, morphine doesn't do anything!

I travel alot. I've lived in three countries & six US States (multiple places in each.) I'm 30 (I know I'm getting old) and I move alot. I don't live in one place for more than a couple of yrs then it's time to move. My travels are both for fun and for work. Unfortunatly, moving all of the time has kept me single and no kids. By the time I get to know someone, it's time to move. I tend to say goodbye to friends at each place and hello to new friends at the new place. Well enough about my traveling habbits. When I was a boy, my mom received a gift from a friend that helped to shape my outlook towards women in general and to my partner in life specifically. First, and above all other things, I am a responsible man who cares deeply for my three boys. I just put that out there so that I can make sure itâ??s been said. Next, I have to tell anyone who wants to learn more about me that intelligence is important to me. If self discovery and mental development is not your thing, then we are not going to be able to connect as deeply as I would like. To me, philosophical discussions and hypothetical situations are fun to explore.

Now donâ??t get me wrong, as geeky as that sounds, I am not an anti-social nerd unable to have a good time. I am originally from a big city and I like the vibe and feel of a night life. The cruising, the bass bumping from speakers, the sounds of a jazzy club - all these things are part of my idea of fun.

I am just that guy who can tear it up on a dance floor of a crowded night club one evening, then wake up the next day to play video games with the kids. Hang out in an art museum just because, then have a quiet dinner in a dimly lit restaurant the next evening. Then when that gets old, I can enjoy a night of soft music at home over some wine or invite some friends over for supper and board games.

If you give me reason to leave, you best believe I will. That is who I am. I don't like wasting time, being any place I am not welcome, or playing mind games of "does he really care."

The latest update for me is that I am going through some things in my life and do not need any drama. So if your world is more turbulent than most, my advice would be finalize what ever you have going on before trying to get into a relationship. I hate describing myself. I feel like I never really know quite what to say. First off, I am a gamer but sunlight is not a death sentence for me. I still enjoy going out with friends and having fun. Okay, I've had my profile up for a few months and I think it's time I rewrite this.
Without direction, I suck at writing descriptions of myself. But I'll attempt it.
I'm a pretty strange person. I like things that most don't. I'm actually passionate about life and I stand up for what I believe in. I find the majority of the human race to be disappointing, honestly. I'm not a negative person at all. But I am just pretty disillusioned with people as a whole. That's pretty much why I joined this site, in hopes of finding someone that I wouldn't meet in my everyday life. I can be reserved, but I do have the tendency to be loud and obnoxious if I'm with the right people. I'm an atheist and I've had a difficult time finding fellow freethinkers in this area. I'm really not open to date a religious person, unless they're pretty liberal and won't damn me to hell. I'm a self-professed music snob. I'm obsessed with music and I'm pretty much always listening to it. I can't imagine life without it, really.

I decide now was the time to update my profile the other was so boring, as always we find it very hard to talk about ourselves and what we really want but here it goes. Well, what to say here. I've never tried the online thing before, but I got a job in a building recently where I'm one of the only people in their 20's, so there aren't a whole lot of people to meet. I'm a little shy, a little outgoing, and a lot complex but incredibly simple. I believe in the small things and can appreciate a day outdoors hiking and mountain biking just as much as a night spent watching old movies in sweat pants and a white tank.

Straight forward would be the first word a lot of people would use to describe me; sometimes, my honesty is a fault, but you shouldn't ask if you don't want an answer. I expect the same and I accept the outcome of all situations.

If I had any say in it, I'd spent the majority of my life working out or being outdoors. There is a taste of freedom in mountain biking trails that can't be reached anywhere else. I love bike riding and lifting weights, and I have a deep love/hate of running. My biggest quirk is probably the fact that I really do not like eating out. I think there is so much more to do than go to a restaurant. Just one of those personal oddities, I guess. Five in the morning is much more appealing to me than two in the morning, and I am a morning person. I'm not a big fan of the club scene, and would much rather prefer getting together at a friend's house rather than a crowd of strangers. I love children, mostly special needs kids, and love volunteering. I believe in 'paying it forward' so to speak, and hope to motivate and inspire with everything I do in life.

I am literate and I would appreciate someone who can carry on a decent conversation about their own interests. Reading and writing is a quiet past time of my own. Photography is another quiet interest of my own, but I haven't done much of any of it lately. I love being outdoors and doing anything active- four wheeling, mud bogging, laying on the beach or even by a pool, or exploring the woods or going on a leisurely walk.

I'd like to say I'm not your "Typical" female, but don't all females typically say that anyway? How cliche. I am most comfortable in basketball shorts and a t-shirt, or blue jeans if the occasion is important enough! = I have three tattoos and I have six holes in my ears. I don't do make up, either. "Natural" would one of the first words I would use to describe me, and I like that trait in someone else, too.
